SYRINX BAG
 
The Syrinx bag is the embodiment of simple elegance, with a dynamic shape and enduring quality. It is designed for those looking for a larger shoulder bag, while being a special treat for flutists; making sure to easily fit a flute even with a B foot joint, or with a double piccolo case, leaving ample room for extra effects. Lined pockets safely store your phone, sheet music, documents or a laptop. The outside pocket of the Syrinx bag is decorated with the rhythmic pattern of resonating flute mechanics, while the zipper of the bag closes with a beautifully shaped, silver plated G# flute key.

The Syrinx is a custom, hand-made, 100% leather bag, made from vegetable tanned cow leather that ages beautifully and doesn’t harm the environment. The inside is lined with pigskin leather, resulting in a bag with a double leather lining, very rich in material, thus ensuring an enduring quality and a protection for instruments and possessions carried inside. It is an ideal companion for everyday use and stylish travel, designed to faithfully accompany its owner for many years.
 
Each vegetable tanned leather bag is unique. Due to the material’s natural graining, every piece of hand selected leather has a slightly different pattern that endows each individually numbered piece with a truly exclusive feel. While the black edition represents elegance, the brown variant of the Syrinx bag adds a touch of sublimeness to the design. The extra variant, made of black buffalo leather, offers a glossy look that is also resilient against marks.

Syrinx was named after Debussy’s stunning solo piece for the flute and was created in collaboration with Hungarian leather designer Agnes Kovacs.
